The three-day flagship event, the largest travel agent event in the UK, will include a trade fair, a full day of conference sessions and gala dinner including entertainment. Plus, delegates will have the chance to visit to visit two of the three ships in port for the event: Celebrity Edge which launches in Miami in December this year, Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 and MSC Preziosa.
This year’s Conference is dedicated to the #NextGeneration of cruising. From dining and entertainment, to new onboard technology and shoreside experiences, #NextGeneration looks at how guests’ cruise holiday experiences will change as we know it, both ashore and onboard. The theme also recognises the CLIA travel agent partners and the dedication they put into helping the cruise industry grow.
CLIA has today announced that it will host a Dublin cruise showcase on 26 July. Taking place onboard Azamara Club Cruises’ Azamara Journey in the Port of Dublin, the cruise showcase is open to all Irish travel agents, including non-CLIA members.
As well as a tour of Azamara Journey, including lunch onboard, the cruise showcase will offer invaluable, expert CLIA advice on latest trends, cruise experiences and sales opportunity. This will be combined with the opportunity to meet with other cruise operators as well as Azamara Club Cruises, so travel agents can learn about each line’s unique selling points and latest products
Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland director, said: “The Dublin cruise showcase is the first of a series of CLIA events to be held in Ireland, bringing together the Irish travel community to help spread the word about the fantastic experiences a cruise holiday has to offer.
“The Dublin cruise showcase will provide Irish travel agents with the chance to experience the wonderful Azamara Journey and hear from the luxury cruise line as well as from CLIA, who will share the latest cruise trends and statistics. The event offers a fantastic opportunity for travel agents to network, expand their cruise knowledge and keep up-to-date with the latest news.”
The Dublin cruise showcase is free to attend. Registration is now closed!
