As one of the largest travel and tourism industries in the world, with the UK market the third largest contributor to its growth, the Cruise Industry transported over 1.9 million passengers in 2017 alone and provides hundreds of thousands of jobs for European nationals both shoreside and onboard every year. Through CLIA Alpha, universities, colleges and their students can now gain a foothold in this growing trade.

CLIA Alpha offers its members the chance to meet and network with some of the industry's most influential figures, creating contacts that can benefit both Cruise and Academic institutions. We also offer a training programme that can raise knowledge and enhance CVs for students who may be interested in our industry.

If you are not yet a CLIA Alpha member and are a college or university in the UK then now is the time. Fees for 2019 are £510 + VAT with access to all of the above included. If you would like to discuss any aspect of the programme and work out how it can help you teach your students about cruise click on the picture at the top of the page to read our brochure.

If you have any further questions or would like more information please please contact ukinfo@cruising.org, phone: +44 (0)203 903 5450.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks so much for your help!

I am really enjoying making my way through the modules and think you’ve done a fabulous job with the resources available to agents.

"CLIA is the ultimate go-to for anything relating to the cruise sector" A must for anyone serious about selling cruise.

Working for a small independent agency, I would not have been able to gain the knowledge, or compete within the sector, without the support from the team at CLIA."
